WHERE TO BEGIN – HOW TO USE THE META CONCEPTS

STEP 1 Begin by reading the Introduction, The Core Elements of a Biblical Worldview, The Meta Narrative (Grand Story) of the Bible and the Table of Contents, which is a listing of all the Meta Concepts.

STEP 2 I’d recommend reading each of the Meta Concepts in one sitting, if possible. (The summary of the concept itself is the statement in bold.) Look for the story. It will take you approximately 1, to 1 ½ hours to read all sixteen of the Meta Concepts teachings.

STEP 3 If you want to dig even deeper into the Meta Concepts, you can purchase the entire Meta Concepts Study Workbook for $25.00, including shipping within the U.S. This nearly 200 page workbook includes a study and application section and additional readings and explanations for each concept. It can be ordered by calling, writing or emailing us at:

I recommend purchasing David Ryrie’s excellent paperback entitled A Survey of Bible Doctrine. A number of the Meta Concepts reference selected readings from his book and it will be a valuable addition to your study library.

NOTE: All scripture references are taken for the New International Version of the Bible (NIV), unless otherwise noted.

Finally, The Divine Conspiracy, by Dallas Willard, Engaging God’s World, by Cornelius Plantinga, Jr., and Heaven is a Place on Earth, by Michael Wittmer are beautifully written books, which have heavily influenced my thinking. I wholeheartedly encourage their reading.
